Klaviyo Email-Program Audits for DTC

Your email is leaking revenue. We find exactly where.

Deliverability gaps and program blind spots quietly cap revenue you can't see from inside Klaviyo. Start with a free Sender Scorecard. In 15 minutes you'll know where you stand and what to fix first. Built by a team that operated email programs behind $100M+ in email revenue, not agency consultants.

The Problem

Your Klaviyo says "98% delivered." Your revenue disagrees.

Klaviyo's dashboard shows delivered, not whether you reached the inbox. So brands blame creative, fatigue, or cadence when the real culprit is the infrastructure and strategy underneath.

Authentication is broken

DMARC sits at p=none (or is missing). SPF and DKIM alignment quietly fail. ISPs downgrade every send.

Engagement rot goes unsurfaced

Disengaged segments stay in the cadence. Sender reputation takes the hit. Klaviyo never flags it.

Revenue leaks into spam

Validity (2025) found fully-authenticated senders capture ~2.3× more inbox placement than partially-authenticated ones; Sinch (2026) ties p=none DMARC to 12–20% higher Gmail spam placement than enforced peers. In a paid audit we quantify the impact from your actual Klaviyo data, not a generic formula.

The pattern we find most

SPF aligned DKIM signing DMARC at p=none BIMI not configured

Email should be your highest-ROI channel. For most DTC brands, it's quietly leaking revenue instead.

Deliverability is only the floor. Even fully authenticated, most DTC programs leave revenue in segmentation gaps and missing journey stages. Top-quartile welcome flows convert 3.5%+ versus 1.2% at the bottom (Klaviyo 2026). Meanwhile every send either builds or erodes your sender reputation, so the longer it goes unaudited, the more it costs to fix.

How It Works

Three steps. The first one's free.

No black box. Every finding is graded by how we know it: observed, inferred, or verified against real message data. You can trust what you're acting on.

01

Start with the free Scorecard

Book a 15-minute review. We scan your sending domain beforehand and walk you through your configuration score, your top fixes, and where you land against your DTC category, no Klaviyo access required.

02

Go deep with the audit

When you're ready, the paid audit reads your whole program with read-only access: deliverability, segmentation, journeys, flows, retention. 30–60 pages, 5 business days, every finding evidence-graded.

03

Execute the roadmap

You get a 90-day plan, phased and ranked by impact. Run it in-house, or we run it with you on a retainer.

Where we have message-level coverage, we verify against real headers, the highest-confidence evidence there is. Where we don't, we tell you exactly what an outside-in view can and can't prove.

Why Us

You're hiring operators, not an agency.

Most deliverability consultants are specialists who've never been on the hook for email P&L. That's a different conversation, and a different outcome.

01

Built by operators, not agency consultants

Our team ran email as operators inside high-volume B2C businesses (50B+ emails, $100M+ in email revenue, owned at the P&L level) before bringing that lens to DTC brands on Klaviyo. You get operator judgment, not an agency playbook.

02

Clear pricing. No sales dance.

$2,500 flat for the audit, delivered in 5 business days; ongoing work runs $3K–$7K per month. You see the scope and the price before any call.

03

Klaviyo + DTC, not generalist

We don't do B2B cold outreach, SaaS, or ESP migrations. We do one thing: show where your Klaviyo program stands against category benchmarks, and what to fix first.

Who You're Working With

Operators who've owned the email P&L.

Our team didn’t come up through agencies. We ran email marketing as operators, owning the P&L and accountable for the revenue number at the board level, across high-volume B2C businesses that sent 50B+ emails and drove $100M+ in email revenue.

That’s the lens we bring to your Klaviyo account: not a checklist a junior runs, but the pattern recognition of people who’ve been on the hook for the outcome. No proprietary-methodology theater, no inflated logo wall, just operator judgment, findings backed by real message-header evidence, and a price you know before you start.

What's Included in the Audit

A strategic email-program audit, end to end.

Deliverability is the foundation, not the finish line. We work from read-only Klaviyo access plus public signals and our archive of your sends, and deliver in 5 business days: a 30–60 page report, a 60-minute walkthrough, and a 90-day implementation roadmap.

01

Deliverability Foundation

  • Domain authentication: SPF, DKIM, DMARC alignment + policy
  • Sender reputation: public blacklist & reputation signals
  • Sending subdomain + custom tracking domain strategy
  • List-unsubscribe (one-click) + consent / compliance check
  • BIMI + VMC readiness
02

Segmentation Architecture

  • 5-tier framework: customer journey, engagement, product intent, geographic, hygiene
  • Microsoft-aware engagement tiers: fixes the MPP over-suppression that quietly drops engaged subscribers
  • Consolidation of overlapping suppression segments into a clean, maintainable set
  • Every segment gets a defined job, expected size, and exact Klaviyo definition
03

Customer Journey & Lifecycle

  • 7-stage journey mapping: browsing, high-intent, recent buyer, repeat, lapsed, cold prospect
  • Differentiated content + cadence per stage, calibrated to your business model
  • Routing logic between stages: triggers, filters, timing
  • Stops recent buyers from being suppressed out of cross-sell
04

Conversion Flows

  • Welcome flow architecture: sequence and branching by buyer status
  • Abandoned cart, checkout, and browse: timing, sequencing, dynamic blocks, exclusions
  • Back-in-stock and pre-launch flows where applicable
  • Each flow audited message-by-message against benchmark
05

Post-Purchase, Retention & Cross-Sell

  • 30/60/90-day post-purchase journey + review strategy tuned to your product cycle
  • Cross-sell & replenishment mapped from your actual purchase data
  • Loyalty / VIP tier strategy + platform integration audit
  • Win-back & reactivation calibrated to lapse windows
06

Campaigns & Send Profiles

  • Standardized Send Profiles so operators stop hand-picking includes and excludes per send
  • Editorial calendar with content-type slot allocation
  • Seasonal moment map + drop / launch playbook
  • Cross-channel SMS orchestration + quiet-hours / frequency framework
07

90-Day Implementation Roadmap

  • Phase 1 (days 1–14), immediate fixes: settings toggles, broken segments, missing exclusions
  • Phase 2 (15–30): build the segmentation framework
  • Phase 3 (31–60): roll out Send Profiles + migrate campaigns
  • Phase 4 (61–90): measurement, A/B testing, ongoing cadence
  • Every action has an owner, a dependency, and a revenue-impact estimate where your Klaviyo data supports it

FAQ

Questions before you book the free Scorecard.

Is the Scorecard really free?

Completely. We scan your sending domain from public data and walk you through the results on a 15-minute call, no cost, no credit card, no obligation to buy anything afterward.

What do you need from us to run it?

Just your sending domain. The Scorecard is built from public DNS signals and the emails we receive when we sign up to your list, no Klaviyo access, no logins, nothing to install. (Read-only Klaviyo access only comes in later, if you move to the paid audit.)

What happens after the 15-minute review?

You keep the findings, your configuration score, your top fixes, and where you stand against your category. If the full audit makes sense, we’ll talk about it; if not, there’s no pressure. Either way you leave knowing exactly where you stand.

We already have an email team. Do we need this?

Your team is great at campaigns, we handle the infrastructure layer they don’t have bandwidth or expertise for. Deliverability is a specialty, not a generalist skill. We work alongside your team, not instead of them.

Doesn't our ESP handle deliverability?

ESPs provide shared infrastructure and basic monitoring. When delivered-rate reporting hides what’s actually reaching the inbox, and when segmentation and lifecycle gaps quietly cap revenue, you need a dedicated review, not a support ticket to a platform serving thousands of other senders on the same IPs.

How is this different from our current email agency?

Most agencies own creative, copy, and sends. We audit the operating system underneath: deliverability, segmentation, lifecycle journeys, suppression logic, and send profiles, the layer that decides whether what they send actually lands and converts.

How long does the audit take?

5 business days from the moment you grant read-only Klaviyo access. You receive a 30–60 page written report, a 60-minute walkthrough call, and a 90-day phased implementation roadmap. The price is flat at $2,500 and published publicly, no custom quotes, no discovery-call pricing dance.

What access do you need to our Klaviyo account?

Read-only. We don’t modify your account during the audit, we review suppressions, flow performance, segments, and revenue attribution, then deliver the remediation roadmap for your team (or ours, under Tier 2) to execute. You revoke access whenever you want.

Do we have to sign up for the retainer after the audit?

No. The audit is a complete, standalone engagement. You walk away with a full roadmap you can execute in-house or hand to your existing agency. If you’d rather we run it, the retainer picks up from there.
